Partnering with Random Studio, FKB created an immersive experiential lounge for the global online luxury fashion retail platform FARFETCH at the Modern and Contemporary Art Fair as part of Art Basel Miami Beach 2022. Working closely with Random Studio, our team fabricated and installed a tradeshow-style room featuring innovative artificial intelligence technology to create unique image boards inspired by the style and fashion choices of guests.

The main draw of this high-end digital engagement space at Art Basel was the interactive digital screens positioned around the lounge, which used unique image recognition technology—created in partnership with Random Studio—to generate collages inspired by the personal style of each guest.

Utilizing FARFETCH’s database of high-end fashion retail imagery, users could then see a wide selection of pieces that complimented their individual fashion choices, available on FARFETCH.

This exclusive experience of fashion curation drew crowds throughout the weekend. Paired with FARFETCH’s 20th Anniversary Party for designer Esteban Cortázar celebrating his new line for FARFETCH Beat, the FARFETCH Immersive Lounge made this year’s fair a significant moment for this luxury fashion retailer.
