To raise awareness for the city’s homeless population and to facilitate donations toward city programs aimed at alleviating homelessness, we created and installed The Present in Love Park in 2018 for the Philadelphia Parks and Recreation Department. This 25-cubic-foot interactive installation was built from LED lights, custom software programming and cabling, stainless steel metal wire mesh, and scaffolding. In 2019 we made interactive improvements in the form of the color and pattern changing bow so that those who donate can visually see an impact from their donation. 

Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the city temporarily suspended the program for the 2020 and 2021 holiday seasons but hopes to bring The Present back to life in the coming years.
