In December of 2021, FKB unveiled its collaboration with Studio About and DataVault of working with artists like Taylor Ette and James Evans to create a one-of-a-kind virtual exhibit for Art Basel Miami Beach. Part of a four-day interactive pop-up featuring musical performances, cocktails, and a re-creation of NYC’s famous Ray’s Bar, this VR project transports the user to a portal room where they can access a variety of unique virtual galleries, including a vault of NFTs on display.

This exciting step into the metaverse features artists from around the globe who utilized this digital space as a new medium to present their work, placing non-traditional artifacts into the virtual world. Employing crypto technology and the metaverse, we were able to broaden the reach of artists and provide users with a rare glimpse inside the exclusive art of Art Basel in a virtual setting that has the added benefit of living in perpetuity online.
